I might go, I'd like to try a new place. I did some stuff to my bike and I want to try it out this weekend for sure. I talked to Dennis and Brandy last weekend. We rode at 360. I'll bet they would be up for going. Did you get a bike yet? You know I'd leave you in the dust if you ride that goofy 4 wheeler!! ;)

i just blasted my 450 around mountain creek trails for a bit. I now own Kevin Windhams bike. I can now see how Stewart and guys blast the whoops and wheelie through them on pure power :)

are you deaf or blind i mean, I just took it to some trails. Some pretty fast places and whooped out braking bump sections I was hammering on one wheel in 3rd. I like it, it will do :)

i meant a race? IE, against another rider/riders. for trail riding, suspension and handling goes alot farther towards going fast than power.

lol, ok

Well, i didnt say a race, so i guess not. lol I would say the opposite. Trail riding is soft and not big jumps so power goes to going fast rather than suspension. Suspension helps the most where you are taking big fast hits with maybe hairy landings. I can get speed up on open trail, I usually dont get into 4th ever except on huge fast outdoor mx tracks.

It looks like I'm going to a private CC track in Bell on Saturday. I've never been there so we'll see how it goes.

i am on a fourwheel, but i had to beg the guy to let me bring it in, and that was only because i told i was not able to ride a bike yet. i will lay money that he would say no to anyone else.

and let me know how Bells is, i have been wanting to go up there sometime.

Looks like it's for TCCRA and TORO members only. I know a couple of guys that race in TCCRA and they're going to get us in.

that's the original intent. But if you contact Tom Robinson via the info on the website, he'll set you up with a membership to Bells. It's like $90/year, but he will prorate it, most likely. I know a coupl eguys that have bought a membership that aren't TCCRA or TORO members.,
It's dry as hell out there now, and getting kind of crumbly, but there are a few fun jumps and good loop to ride.

Well crap, I hope it's worth the drive. How long is the loop?

Well crap, I hope it's worth the drive. How long is the loop?it should be worth the drive. I havent heard anyone complian about hot having a good time out there. the loop is something like 11 or 12 miles. the jumps are part of the loop. they are jumps that are pretty much made from the natural terrain.
The other thing good is that you don't have to worry about a lot of people being there. It's rarely more than about 10 - 15 people there at a time on the weekends.

Cool, Sounds like my kind of place. A nice 12 mile loop with a couple of jumps built in sounds like a good time. I haven't ridden a marked course since Rip Char and the occasional left over markings at Red River.

if you liked Rip-Char you'll like Bells, for sure. It's fun, but the races always kick my ass, with some kind of shit happening. I t-boned a guy one year because him and another guy tangled just as I was hitting the jump. then later ended up in a big hole. This year I was passing some guys one one of the bumpy ass straights, hit a rut wrong and over the bars i went. that was after getting 8 stitches the day before for putting a peg through my leg when I slipped of the peg in the jump section.
but it's a fun place. you'll like it! when you going?

Yeah, I went. I liked it a lot. It was a bit dry but the course is great. Almost 12 miles on the dot. We did about 3.5 laps before we couldn't take anymore. The course is pretty rough. A lot of whooped out sections and roots. Very well marked and easy to navigate, I liked that. I'll definitely go again and probably get a membership.
