After fighting his way up from the middle of the pack the left hand side of his rear tyre shredded and when he tried to nurse it home for some points his engine gave out in a big plume of blue smoke! He eventually retired about two laps before the end.

Hayden did fantastically well and he looked real happy to be on the top step at his home track - makes things a bit harder for Pedrosa now...! I felt really sorry for Roberts Jr having the two rookies snapping at his heals before taking him down - that was real good fun to watch! C'mon Pedrosa! :D

Yeah, Rossi's reign is OVER!!!! That will be so awesome to see Nicky take it. I'd rather see Colin do it, but Nicky will be just as good. What happened to Colin yesterday? Man, he just looked flat!

Yeah, they said on Eurosport that he weren't feeling too good so I guess he just didn't have the strength to put in the lap times. That must have been a real bummer for him.

No more GP for a month :( that blows.

yeah Colin was sick and the heat out there didnt help. Track temp was 150 degrees at 10 in the morn :eek: Then at lap 10 his rear tire gave out... He said it was all he could do just to bring it across the finish line :(
