I have never had a problem with the Honda cruisers I have owned. A shadow was my first bike and I still regret selling it...

Maxim motorsports in allen has a hell of allot of new and used to choose from....

My brother has a 03 Honda shadow 750 and he love's the bike now if your gonna ride 2 up all the time then i wouldnt buy the bike not really comfy for the lady, i would step up too one of there litre bikes.

Although im a Die hard Yama man, Honda make's very good cruiser and realible.

I think my brother and i drove too houston too pick this one up w/ 4000 miles and payed $3500 for it off Craig's list, hella of a deal.

I kinda like the Honda cruzers myself...

If they are as reliable as their cars then you cant go wrong.

Fred, a buddy of mine has a Warrior for sale. I'm not sure on the year, but it's an 04 or newer. Custom paint job, and some other little goodies. Let me know if you want to see it, and I'll have him bring it to Irving.

if i were you i would definitely stick with the boulevard or the shadow. the vstar 650 is nice. my dad rides one. it's aircooled, and that sucker gets hot quick. i would not recommend it for dallas weather/traffic conditions.

I have ridden a Yamaha V-Star and a Honda Shadow Sabre. Both were nice bikes, but I liked the Honda better.

Something like this but with less miles..... Honda Shadow Sabre 1100 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2003-HONDA-VT1100-VT-1100-SHADOW-SABRE-V-TWIN-CRUISER_W0QQitemZ170009485399QQihZ007QQcategoryZ50 008QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#MainBikeP icA)

How much do you weigh?

The V-Star 650 is going to be completely gutless unless you weigh less than a 100 pounds

im far from a 100, probably more like 250...im not set on a 650, but if its what i need up with, im sure it will have more guts than this dam expedition that i drive daily...but if i can find something bigger, i would take it...i am just looking into all options right now...

Very cheap! I had a Suzuki Marauder 800 before I bought my Harley. It wasnt bad for just being an 800cc.

My aunt has a vstar650 and at 65-70 you are winding it pretty good. I rode it for a week when she got it and didnt like the way it rode at all.

Yamaha V-MAX. It will satisfy your cruiser need and then when you want to go fast just crack the throttle  ....it will do that too. Longest surviving Yamaha that I know of. V-4 torque, V-boost, maintenance free shaft drive....thats one BADASS cruiser.

I loved my Yami Virago. I don't recommend that you get anything smaller than a liter though Fred, at your weight a 650 will hardly merge onto the freeway.

Buy a Yamaha Warrior used! Bad ass bike and you can grab them fairly inexpensive when you get an 02 or 03 model. I am also biased
