Good job Pat, Trevin and Itallion. We redlite the 1st round. We had Chip and hs orange Chevelle covered too. Oh well, we'll get em next month.

Kelly, you wanna reconsider letting aftermarket big blocks in the 9 inch tire race? One stage of nitrous at 3400 lbs sounds fair to me. Open it up and we will come play.

Maybe the mufflers we installed helped you win just like my alignment setup on Kellys truck helped him win 9' tire class.Just a thought.congrats on your win Pat! :D

I don't think it would be right to let a aftermarket big block in at 3400lbs. I tried to talk him in to that before and i was told NO.

Take a look at TTT5's True Street class. They allow aftermarket big blocks at 3400 lbs on a MT 8.6 inch ET Street tire and an aftermarket big block car hasn't ever won a True Street race, never, and the only big block car to win a TS race in the last 2 1/2 years was Tommy Thormeyer in Abilene with his 427 tall deck motor. It's hard to get those high torque motors to hook on a real small tire. This 9 inch tire class is very liberal on the small blocks allowing them 2 stages of nitrous at 3000 #'s. Allowing a short deck aftermarket BB in at 3400 pounds, with 1 nitrous hit is more than fair. It would allow a few others like myself to come participate. If the aftermarket BB's start becomming ringers at every race, then add some weight to them. We just wanna come play and race.

If somebody wanted to, they could build a 454 inch aftermarket small block on 2 nitrous hits and weigh 3000#'s on ladder bars or a 4-link. Now that would be a ringer combo every race in the right hands.

All I ask is look at the big picture and what is being done in True Street and try to allow these cars.

Thank you for your time and whatever is decided on we will accept.

sonny leanord has been offering a 500" small block for years.
Not many people buy them at a 26,000 dollar price tag
