Ok, So may it is not that soon... but at least I finally have something done to it beside collecting dust.... Turbo kit is about 40-50% complete. This weekend I should get it closer to the 60% range. After that is done - it comes back apart again to go to the coaters while I work on some more side work :(

One of these days.....

It might run some 6.9's ;)

Thanks for the kind words guys! I was initially hoping to be running by April - but that quickly went away. I kept adding a month to my expected run date. Finally I quite hoping and just said fuck it. It will run when it runs - LOL.

All of the paint work credit goes to a good friend Delfino Chavez and Sante Fe paint and body - It looked like hell before they got thier hands on it!

That is just beautiful, Brooks. Really nice work.

You need to set a date in stone and work to that goal. Otherwise, it really never will get done...

Ya know I was thinking - there was a reason I cut that out too.. and I can't remember why I had to do it, but you are right, I couldn't stand that hole so I had to make the sheet metal box/cover. It will get painted as soon as the kit is done.

Thanks Danny! As much as I'd like to "finish" it - I don't think it ever will be "done". I want to change a few things over the winter - so the car will probably have very little use on it by then. I want some magnum 500's, minitub, and possibly a promod 'glide as well...

LOL. If I had money I'd already be racing :D It took be the better part of 2 years to get it back this far and it ran before I took it apart.

Kelly - Thanks man! Eventually it will run - and when it does.. they'll have to get the police to make me leave the track everynight. LOL.

BTW, I could use your help sometime this week to help me bleed the brakes now that all the leaks are gone. Or I could recruit my 80+ year old neighbor lady and hope her hearing aid can tune in to me under the car. :)
