lil ole 632. :D
messing with these damn things sure make me miss simple street cars.
You would think with the front end off and radiator out of it that it would be simple to work on. Wrong. I just can't wait to do all the wiring tomorrow, I'm so extided about it I think i'm going to go out in the front yard and do back flips.

i was basing it on SBF,s run 4.90 range with little motors 2900lbs or so

I guess my ?? is why does it take these monster BBC to run where they do

cause the SBF are running gobs of boost.

at 2600lbs, but he is also running in the 4.5x range. billy does not run the black GT in much beside FFW. slow55's car weighs in around 3200lbs if i am not mistaken.

anytime you pressurize something it will make power. The reason turbo guys run small blocks is because a turbo will only move so much volume and it's easier to fill the something with a short stroke and bore.
You take a 420 inch small block set up for a turbo it makes probaly 650 hp without boost. ad boost to it and the power jumps up to 2000 plus. You take a big inch nitrous motor and they make around 1200/1500 hp depending on size heads etc and throw about 650 hp worth of nitrous on it and it makes 2000 plus hp.
there are plenty of ways to make power but the end result is the same.

billys car runs a big small block with a clutch and weighs 2480 pounds.
put it at out legal weight of 3000#s with a clutch and that thing probaly would run that good.
Jeff Naiser had a small block in his car with a clutch and at 3000#s went a 4.62.
Billy tried to match race him many times but would never add weight to his car to make it even.

Outlaw motor...run some 60's though.
I don't think i have the power to run 60s with this set up. I know it's not going to right now in this type of heat but even in good weather this should be a low 70 car maybe and thats a big maybe a 68 or 69 in perfect weather. Right now i'm hoping for high 70s low 80s.

If you get consistent with low 70's you might be able to be pretty competitive at KOTH. Good luck man.

I ran into some problems today and ran out of time to go testing. The msd wouldn't tansfer data for some reason and i can't find any #16 fittings to hook up the water lines.
We will be ready to test wendsday and run friday night. Come on out
