View Full Version : 96 Katana ?

Ok theres a guy I know and his sister is sellin a 96 suzuki katana for $900. The problem is she hit a car and did some damage to the front of the bike. It doesnt look like the forks are bent but she said when you get to a certain speed it starts to shake and tries to throw you off the bike. Anyone know what damage could have been caused for it to do that. If its expensive to fix, then I wont get it. What you guys think?

sounds like the forks just twisted a little thru the triples
i wouldnt buy it..cause the canoftunas suck

Getting tossed on the higway doesn't sound like alot of fun, and there's no tellin' what else is wrong. I'd rather keep my $900 and wait for an un-wrecked deal to come along.

That is exactly what Im gonna do. I had talked to the person on the phone and they had made it sound like it was ridable. But when I saw it in person it was awhole different story. I will just save my money and get exactly what I want!
