whats everyones take on the new r6? Still a good bike inspite of the whole rpm thing? also i have heard some good and bad about the fly-by-wire? anyone know more about the fly by wire?

seem like amazing track bikes, just a little to high strung for the street. I rode a brand new R6 yesterday and it was deffinately the fastest 600 ive ever ridden. It sucks ALL the power is over 9k. Would deffinately by one, like i said as a track bike, but my 954 continues to reign supreme for everyday use. I might be bias but I think that the 954 IS the best liter bike pre 03' hands down. Anyways....just my 2c. And please no bitching...I know the two bikes are apples and oranges, i just had to pop in my thoughts.

great bikes all alround ..def the most track ready bike..but for the price it is not worth it...you could get a 750 almost the same price...

I mean if you take a 1000RR and a 954RR and give them to a proffessional rider, what do you think he's going to turn the fastest lap times on? I don't need to ride a 954RR to come to that conclusion. If it were so great there would be no 1000RR to compete with other superbikes. Im sure the 954 is a great bike in it's class.
