a 2005 Buell XB12R black/gold, anyone heard good/bad. I cant seem to find many pre-owned but I dont know if thats a good thing or bad. I drove it yesterday and WOW! The idle alone had me giggling like a school girl. Anyone on the board have one? Let me know what you think.

Don't get it!!!!!!! They are pieces of shyte! And the only dealer you can get it worked on, or parts for is American Eagle in Corinth. Not sure where your at. There's a reason all the rest of the Harley dealers quit carrying them.

I live in Little Elm, there is the one in Corinth and one in Allen. Also has a 3 year ext warranty from Harley, havent heard anything bad until now. Anyone else?

If your seriously considering a buell, PM my rommate JasonRR, he was a former BRAG chapter president, I believe, up north.
The way he explained it to me, the newer ones are better, more reliable, and there are PLENTY of custom's out there that source the buell mechanicals for buildups, due to a good combination of price, reliability, weight, etc..
FWIW, the radial brakes are supposed to work good, and honestly it is 'different' if thats important to you.
Personally, I think some of the buell styling is neat/innovative, and some is not.
If it were me, i'd ONLY buy one w/ an extensive warranty + smokin' deal. Guess it depends on a lot of things if its right for you, but I'd give JasonRR a PM if I were you!
