how much of an effect does a passenger have, on say, a newer 600cc sportbike, from a highway hit? 60 mph or so, and an average rider 200lbs or so, and a female, 120lbs. just simply wondering?

enough to drastically affect acceleration from a 60 punch, all other things equal?

On any bike a passenger makes a drastic difference, especially on a 600.

weight is you worst enemy .. when trying to go fast .. I may be wrong ..

600cc sport bike =400 lbs ..
average rider .. = 200lbs
passanger =120 ( or less ) { hopefully not more }

so rider and passanger = almost as much as the bike ..
125 ish Hp .. pushing 400 lbs ..
125 ish pushing 720 lbs ..
