First time out 95GT 5spd

Well i jst bought the car and brought it out to the track. It's a 130k 5spd car BONE STOCK to the plugs... :o with 17'' bullets on it all the way around it ran a best of 14.40 (clutch slipping) ...

I am going to throw some plugs/cap/wires/rotor in it and add some 3.73's this weekend and a cold air intake and try it again... Does that sound like a DECENT 1st time for one of these cars??? Thanks and any help would be nice... Oh and i will be putting some D/R's on it to help that 60'... :)

Good times for the car. There heavy compared to the coupes.

Nice times. Take some weight out and do those mods and you should get some low low 14s and possibly a high 13! :)

Stick a new fuel filter in there when you do the plugs, too.

Thanks vertnut i was also told to add an adjustable fuel regulator..?? I think the car has abit left in it and needs a new clutch too. I have an adjustable cable and clutch for it so i think i'm gonna change it all out in the next few weeks... Do u guys think that it's possible to get it into the 13.60 range with these changes, on a set of sticky's?? Thanks for the help...
