1/4 mile question

finnally finished my new set up and took it out to the track last night for some motor runs to make sure the car went straight blah blah blah. I have a nitrous convertor but didnt spray last night. I ran a 11.80 @ 121 with a 1.9 60 foot.
The car basically fell on its face off the line every pass, and came alive after that. Im guessing my convertor is to tight???? But should be fime with the nitrous??
Do most nitrous guys always have to spray?? if my 60 foots were in the 1.4's where would that put me??

Were you foot braking it? I would think that converter will flash a lil higher on the nitrous and that may be why it fell on its face like it did.

yeah i just foot braked, never hit the transbrake

Mine is weak on motor also cause of a turbo convertor. Spray it!

If the converter was built for your combo w/ juice that is common. It will flash sometimes as much as 1000 - 1500 rpm more on the bottle. All depends on how much spray you push. ;)
