Ran at Redline for first time..

Ran at tredline tonight, new trac for me...first run was real ugly,10.12 at 76mph, spun real bad.2nd run same thing 11.46 at 71.59...did some ajustments...let out some air in tires, 9.39 at 78.19, and 4th run was a 9.5 at 76.54...fell on it's face on that one..I want to keep it all motor, and so far i have a cat back ( MAC),75mm TB, and a C & L...still stock 3:27..It's an 01 Gt..What are some things to lower my times to mid 8's other than gears...i'm putting 4:10's in it next...hope that will get me to the 9.1 to 8.9 range...any Ideas...60 ft best was a 2.32 on the last run...3rd run was a 2.37..Give me some ideas to help me out....

You need some practice and some drag radials, but congrats on running for the first time. Get your 60' down and your times will be right where they should be. It sure is fun when you first start ;)

thanks, i have ran at denton before, the best i have run is 9.2..I think i like this track better, it's closer..

we were right there. Yea you tapped the brakes after you crossed the timers. And the nose of your car never fell till you crossed the line. Dont just take it out on me. I was there as well as gravygraber, 93coupett, tweaked blazer, and a few others that were laughing about what would be posted. Reid congrats on the new best for that motor. 6.48. Thought we where supposed to run, but then the way you talking I did think your car was faster. Maybe if you can run that 6.00 we will run. I didn't get to talk to you to much, my car was slightly wounded and only went 6.17 at 111. so you will have the edge on me. :D

Reid, what did you run at Kennadale Friday night??Went 6.60@104 in Qualifying but had some wiring issues in 1st rd when I needed to tap the 2nd it killed the car....Rewired everything last nite...should be good for some low 6's this wknd....No more 2 stage I am gonna shock it,thats what the 9 inch was for..... ;)
