yea, I'm kinda surpised that NASCAR went along with it...
but it's probably like most other car/racing movies, first thing they do is get rid of anybody who knows anything about racing or cars with in the movie production company.

I won't be spending any money to go see it...

hell yea that moive looks pretty damn funny. Me and my buddy will be going to watch it and he is a big nascar fan. A movie with Will Farrel(sp) you really just can't take it serious. Just look at all the other movies he has done.

I know it's a comedy... and I'll be the first one to laugh at/with myself (and others too) at the absurbity of what most of us do over here. (Hell, a few months ago, I bought a car that cost as much as a house... if that's not absurd, I don't know what is...)

Similar to the rediculous "Days of Thunder" movie from a few years ago... Not sure if it helped or hurt NASCAR... and don't really care... just make it have some remote basis in reality and I'll be a player.


As I said, I'll laugh my ass off at anything/anyone at anytime...I'm just not down with Hollywood trying to do it for me. I like Will Farrell, and NASCAR, I'm just not sure the two are a good match.
