9" Tire Race This Saturday

9" Madness this Saturday @ Redline Raceway...Before you ask the rules have been updated. the only rules that have been changed is the weight of the cars. and the rules about turbos have been added.We will have a copy to hand out at the track.

Small block..3000 pounds...aftermarket blocks ok (2 stages of nitrous)
big block.....3200 pounds...no aftermarket blocks (1 stage of nitrous)
turbos.........3200 pounds..88mm or smaller. (small blocks only) (stocksuspension only) boltons OK.
Fastest round loser only comes back if odd number of cars in event.
If you pass the scales after the run your out. (No exceptions)
We have 4 committee members..Trevin Lindsey..Jay Moore..Turbo Stang..Kelly Duncan..If there is any problems or concerns at the track find one of these guys

I need to get a taller and skinnier true slick for my car, currently running 28x11.5x15 ET Streets.

I think you are probably right, but it doesn't matter - the only one that has been there can't get anywhere near 3200#. With no ballast it weighs in at 3350+ :(

This class has grown so much that it is hard to police. this is why the rules keep changing..The rules that we just did are set in stone for the rest of the year. this is why I also elected the other guys to help out it is way to much for one person to handle. Please bare with us it is a good class and will continue to grow...Thanks for all of your support.

Second place was a black Mustang, sorry don't know there name. Finals was Kelly w/ a 5.78 to the Mustang w/ ( I think ) 5.80

Thorn was parked right beside me and had ET Streets on but was only running 5.8x this time around. Best I saw was 5.85. Didn't catch what Thomas did.

Thanks, we are still trying to improve on things....Hopefully it will only get better.. :D ...
