Yeah, you know everytime I talk to people about watercooling, they think they have to get this big contrapation, when in reality you dont need anything massive. Its about 1/2 the size of a mini itx case and looks really cool. The one they had at fry's as bigger than my ionic breeze -_-

i also added a GEforce Nvidia 128mb video card, it had an on-board 16mb p.o.s.my

my other computer was a emachines 633mhz processor, 194 mb ram, and a 15 gb hd. so, this HP absolutly FLIES compared to my other one :D

Thanks. Did you get the P-180 or P-180B (the black version)? Just to let you know, the case is a bitch to do cable managment in. The bottom is impossible and the top isnt much easier. That took me just over an hour.

Stang2be
07-07-2006, 08:47 AM
I tried to get the P180 from fry's for $99 but they were sold out. I got it from newegg for 124 with free shipping and a 20 mail in rebate.

I've got my stuff in the Antec LANBoy now. I've got two friends with the p180 and had heard cable routing was a hassle not to mention I've got an Ultra X-Connect with some good sized cables to route.

dmh165638
07-07-2006, 05:22 PM
Also be careful with the side panel of the P180, the two plastic fingers on the top and bottom of the side panel break off easy. There is also warping problems with the front bezel. I had one power cable that was a little short and had a difficult time reaching the top drive bay for my DVD burner.

I havent had any of the above problems. Since I purchased mine last year, 3 other people at my work got the P180 as well since they liked it so much. By far the highest quality case I've owned, ESPECIALLY for an Antec. Everything feels so solid.

The only problems I have had so far are that the side fan duct doesnt accept a normal 80mm fan, its to thick. you need to find a 15mm thick 80mm fan for it if you want to use a fan in the duct.

The other problem was I left the door open when I was sitting down and caught the edge of it with my shoe and it broke one of the little nubs that goes in the hole for the door to hinge back. Kinda confusing, but basically the door has to either be off or closed, It wont stay on if it's open, but I keep it off most of the time anyway unless its off, and then its closed.

BottleRocket

Also, this is by far the best case to use if youre gonna run an air cooled RAID 0 setup. The bottom bay holds up to 4 drives and has a dedicated fan just for those drives.

My p180 hasn't given me any issues, and just in case you do get warping on the side panels and/or side doors antec will replace them for free.
It is a bitch to do cable management though, but it keeps everything quiet as hell and keeps everything nice and cool.

2 GHz P4
GeForce 5500GTOC 256MB AGPx8 card (i think it's 256 anyway)
512MB generic PC2100 RAM
some other crap

EDIT: BTW, the computer is a little over 4 years old... :D , I'm happy with what it's lasted through, but really need a new one for gaming.

what brand?

Roliath
07-11-2006, 01:06 PM
bottlerocket, its an XFX Triple X which was there highest factory overclocked version of the card. It runs at 580/1730 (600/1800 is no problem) stock.

XFX offers a double lifetime warranty so if you register the card with them (if you buy it), they will owner the warranty for you should anything happen.

I paid twice of what i'm selling it for when they first came out (bought it on launch day) and these are kinda hard to find now.
But this is the model I'm talking bout

the one i'm selling is the top card (PV-T70F-YDF) (http://www.xfxforce.com/web/product/listConfigurations.jspa?seriesId=12035&productId=85744#)
