Played with a new C6Z!!!

As i was driving on the track ;) I see a brand new black Z06 next to me, young smiling hispanic dude looks over and wanted to play! :eek: Unfortunately i didnt have my baby bottle, and i needed petro...He pulls up behind me as I get off to re-fuel, and gets next to me and tells me "c'mon lets run" at this point I tell him that i need to re-fuel and he tells me that I'm scared! I was like :eek: (first and only C6Z thamay want to play by the way) So i decide to go for it with a little under a quarter tank left. As we get to beginning of the track, he tells me "you're shits slow, you don't stand a chance" I was like "yeah, you're lucky im on motor right now, because i know you can't drive that thing". He honks 3 times, because my horn don't work, and he stalls out, I'm gone by like 3 cars from the get go, he finally starts moving and as he's in my rear view mirror i see as he hits 2nd gear the headlights move from side to side in an upwards direction. lol! (no treads for the Z) I hit 3rd, still in front by a good 3-4 cars, i hit 4th still in the back. At thi point im like "was he racing?" Next we go from a 50 roll, (I know Im a dumbass), 3 honks and we're off.....OMG!!! was the reaction from me that thing SCOOTED up out of here, by like 10 cars in front...Overall it was fun we chatted at the gas station for a bit and he asked what i had in the stang, stated that it was pretty quick from the get go. As i look at his rear treads, You would think they were Goodyear slicks! This guy just has too much fun in the Z.............

Alright, buddy. Bring that Z06/Cobra killer over here! I work at 635/75 you can reach me Monday trough Friday. If that's too far to drive your racecar, I can swing by Grand Prairie this weekend. I used to get a little nervous when I raced my Mustang too far away from home without a tow truck too.

I'm not doubting he beat a new Z06. I've beat one and lost to another. I beat a Viper and lost to an Integra on the same night!!! Granted, it was a 500fwhp Integra that beat a new Viper that was on spray, but still lost to an Integra, nonetheless. The Integra did lose to a procharged Z06, but not by much. So it can be done. I'm sure the guy with the Integra is also game to run the Mustang.

There's a guy that was up at 21st Century Musclecars that had one with bolt-ons and a tune, claiming 10.98... don't remember the mph though. He wasn't the one that worked there, just a customer. The black one that's up there makes like 555rwhp with exhaust and a tune, reportedly.

True its fast...I don't street race but a guy was pacing me in his new C6Z the other day and he wanted to race. We came to a stop light, of course I wasn't going to race on the street. He asked what I had under the hood so I gave him a couple of revs. Then told him to figure it out. So at the next light he said nevermind....that doesn't sound like a ford motor :eek: I asked him what it sounded like he said LS1. So i gave him the thumbs up and he rolled up his windows.

Best pass was a 7.0x @ 95mph. It has a nitrous tune on it thats robbing about 30hp (haven't install it yet). It should run high 6's with a motor tune. I got a long to do list for the car it just takes money :o....but in my book its still slow.

I post over at LS1Tech alot & the guy in the Yellow C6 Z06 is pretty well known over there & has ran alot of BADASS LS1's that are putting some serious HP down to the ground & are well known to be fast LS1'S & the Stock 427 in that Yellow car of that guys just keeps getting a pretty impressive kill list over there on that Board,

Just to put in perspective for some people on the board who think they can take a new Z06 from a roll! These cars are pure Beasts!!!!! They make the 03-04 Cobra's & BAD ASS LS1'S look stupid & while doing it. DOING IT STOCK!!!! These new Z06's are 10 sec rides with just some simple bolts on's!

GOD I WISH I HAD THE MONEY TO BUY ONE! This is the new bad boy on the block & still handles & has cold AC too! :D
