I am looking into a single amp to put in my truck. I think with some planning I can fit a nice single amp in there. I need it to power a set of JL Audio XR650csi components for the front stage, stock speakers for the rear stage, and a pair of 10w1v2. I was looking into the JL Audio 500/5, any other recommendations? Does that sound like a good amp for what I need? If so, can you shoot me a pm w/ a price on it EW? Thanks in advance
Oh BTW, this is in a single cab 94 f150

I would use an amp for highs and a seperate amp for subs... makes it easier to tune and might be cheaper. Just install the amps under the front seats.

I can only fit one amp underneath the seats, my truck has 40/20/40 buckets in it, and the amp would have to go under the center seat which doesn't have much room. I can fit an amp on my enclosure that has a footprint up to 20"x15" or two small ones as long as there is still room for wires, but they would have to be less than 10" wide each.

is there room to mount the amps on your subs? w.e u do, DO NOT mount your amps upside down... the heat sinks wont be able to disperse the heat correctly and will end up shutting down and/or clipping periodicly or burn up your amp at the worst  you could prob get away with mounting a small JL amp under or on the side of your dash... duno if theres any room inside of it cuz i duno ur car but you might wanna pop the covers off and take a looksy...
