who here has done it or does it. I am considering building one in the back part of the cab in my s10,

Is it worth the time to mess with or am i better off just buying a prefab kind of box?

By custom i mean like fiberglass and such not just built to a certain spec

If you have the tools try it yourself at least once. When I tried to make one for my dodge, I fucked up the 1st and 2nd time and by the third I was ready to kill, but I'm not a talented carpenter. If you go to buy one hit the pawn shops, sometimes you can find good deals.

I had one...it was cool, but was it worth it....eh depends on how much you show off your shit.

I would go with a box built exactly to spec made out of wood if I ever did it again. Then just cover it with vinyl instead of carpet.

Fiberglass is only beneficial when trying to make a certain shape. Otherwise, wood will be more solid and dead.

You can do it yourself it is not that hard. If you need someone to build it then let me know.
