I am about to have an engine and transmission installed and I need to get the undercarriage cleaned. I have bad oil and trans leaks and before i get all the new stuff in i want it all cleaned up. Ne one???? :eek:

I'd jack it up and put her on stands. Then pull the wheels/tires to clean in that area. All you should need is water, simple green and brushes to scrub on stuff.

Yep, blew the headgasket on my truck and sprayed oil all over the front of the motor, worked pretty well...

Took ALOT of scrubbing, rinse, repeat...

Is simple green some type of spray? would degreaser work?

Degreaser might work just as well, but this is a bit cheaper and does not damage anything.

And it smells good, and not bad for the enviroment:p

Yeah it does smell good. Plus it washes off easily and stuff seems fairly shiney after its use. A little touch up stuff for black plastic/whatever and done. Goes good with some ice and vodka too.

does ne one know a business that does this???... i would like to have it done when my engine and tranny is removed.. i want it done right with NO damage to ne wires or anything...
