We need a leader on our team. A superstar like James, Kobe, or Wade. We dont have that, we have an allstar who cant handle the pressure and chokes. It's clear Wade has outclassed Dirk. Dirk cant hit an open jump shot but Wade can score when he's tripple teamed. If the Mavs lose this series then they'll never win the championship with dirk.

Im a spurs fan but before that I am a Texan and normally I would cheering for any team that comes for texas but I just cant cheer for the mavs. It has nothing to do with them beating the spurs its how they play dirty and look at how many players they have had suspended during the playoffs. No other team has even come close to having that many different guys getting suspended for dirty ass plays. In my opinion its a bunch of thugs that will not let anything stand inbetween them and victory no matter how many cheap shots they have to take to get there. Of course the whole team isn't like this but a few bad apples will bring the whole team down. That and I also can't stand Cuban irrogant ass. If the mavs win so be it but they dont act like champs in my book and I hope to hell Miami takes them down in game 6.

dirty ass plays? A hard foul by Stackhouse? Nothing different than the elbow to the nose he took from Shaq.
Mbanga suspended for 5 games for going to make sure Avery's wife was ok, because of some punk ass fans?
Yeah, real shitbags

I still believe and will still be a fan regardless of the outcome of this series.Shit, i followed the Mavs all through the nineties so i know how bad it can be.
Completely agree about Nowitzki.I love the guy but he lacks a killer instinct sometimes.
If the Mavs lose this series, they better make a serious run at Garnett next year.

Still haven't received confirmation if the victory parade is still going on tomorrow or not. I washed my MFFL t-shirt and dusted off my Mavs foam finger for this.
My team is fishing, but there are a few things my team won't do:
1. Blame a loss on a conspiracy theory
2. Plan a victory parade before the series is over
3. Have the owner say they'll win it all on national TV
4. Take aggression out on exercise equipment
See you guys at the parade.

In the playoffs he wanst the one who choked, unlike dirk. I could handle being outclassed by a team and them winning, but for your star player to choke and not show up, makes you have a sick feeling. Maybe you can deal with your star player only being good in the reg season but to me its worthless.

Really?
1. I remember the Spurs complaining about fouls not getting called in their loss to the Mavs.
2. All cities plan a victory parade for multiple days, so that they can be READY for it if it happens.
3. Mark Cuban is a true fan, and owner, not some dick in a suit, worried about the numbers. He's passionate, and stands behind his team.
4. Just because they showed it on TV and it was Dirk, you think other teams that lose, and are frustrated don't go back in the locker room, throw stuff, kick chairs? It's a part of being passionate, and caring about winning. Happens all the time, and you are a complete fool if you think Duncan never has thrown a temper tantrum after a loss.

He might not have choked but he also didn't make the players around him rise to another level. Im from Minnesota and have seen it many times.

99% of everything you have posted before I have agreed with but some of that list i am going to have to disagree with.
1. I'll give you that one for sure
2. My guess would be any city who has a team in position to win is going to go ahead and plan a parade/celebration due to the amount of workers needed, space ect.
3. It actually is a good thing for any sport to have an owner like Cuban involved. Some may hate him but he brings a level of excitement with him unmatched by any other owner. What is he supposed to say tho if asked if they are going to win it? I don't think we are?
4. I like seeing passion from players, while it might not have been in the most constructive way possible it atleast shows he cares.

1. Complaining about calls is not crying about an NBA conspiracy
2. All cities do have tenitive parade dates, but I can't remember any going public with them before the series is over, with the date being the same as a possible game.
3. Call him a true fan, a passionate owner, whatever, but I don't want my owner predicting a victory on national TV. That's just personal opinion, we can disagree.
4. Ok I'll give you that, I just haven't seen it.

Ok just a couple of things to add....
1. Wade alone was at the damn line more than the entire friggin Mavs team!! If thats not a red flag, tell what the hell is!?!
2. So they mentioned it in the paper. BFD. I bet Miami is planning theirs right now too, and put a deposit at Party City on all those friggin streamers.
3. HE IS THE FREAKING OWNER!!! of course he's gonna say that...he wants the win! If he went out and there and said "Uhhh I dunno guys, we may lose!" then everybody would freak out about him saying that. Cuban can't do shit right in the most people's eyes. He's there for his team, with them all the way. He puts his ass out there daily for them. I bet on most teams they don't see the owner every day...he's too busy on his yacht, and catches the recaps on ESPN.
4. It was a bit much, but you have understand that he just lost GAME 5 of the friggin NBA finals! No excuse, I know. Maybe he should get married so he will have someone to take all that agression out on. :D
I hope/pray it will be Mavs in 7. If not, there's always next year.
I BELIEVE!!!!

That can be contributed to the fact that Wade is driving the bucket non stop. You drive that much and you are going to be on the line a lot. The Mavs are shooting from outside therefor not getting the calls.

O
1. Wade alone was at the damn line more than the entire friggin Mavs team!! If thats not a red flag, tell what the hell is!?!
I've been a Mavs fan since the late 80's. My "fandom" peaked in the mid 90's upon arrival of the 3 J's and fell off a bit when Tardem Ussery & Ross Perot flushed a decade of lottery picks down the toilet with the help of Jim Clemons & Don Nelson. Anyway........
Wade was slashing to the bucket most of the game due to his off shooting night. No Mav can gaurd him man to man. This has been known since the series started. He knows it, the Mavs know it, Avery knows, Pat Riley knows it, the Refs know it, I know it, and I hope by now you know it. Some calls were questionable, but many calls can be contested either way.
The Mavs did not slash to the basket. They did on occasion when the lanes are clear enough for a plane to takeoff.
All this team needed was to take just one game out of 3 in Miami. They had the mental edge and put all the pressure on the Heat. Now, the pressure's on them and the Heat have the mental edge. Honestly, I don't expect Dallas to win 2 in a row, even if they are at home.

True. I will admit he is an amazing player. He lands almost anything he shoots.
I really hope we win.

I couldn't agree more about the pressure. All I can hope is that coming home will make a huge difference, even if its just in morale. Our fans in our house.
