This is it. This is 1 of a possible 2 elimination games for the NBA Championship.

A ray of sunshine for the Mavs fans... Everything is exactly as it's supposed to be. The Mavericks still have homecourt advantage. We have won our 2 and they have won their 3. All we have to do is win our 2 again.

It will come down to who wants it more and I for one think the Mavericks will show up to play Maverick basketball for the first time since game 3. Rowdy Proud and Loud. Go Mavs.

With that said, I don't know if Dallas can ever win it all without a slasher or someone who can play on the low block. A 2 or 3 that could post and slash is all this team needs to win it all, IMO.
Teams this far into the playoffs can all play good defense. They double team Dirk and get the ball out of his hands making him useles. The guy can't create his own shot nor play on the low block and earn his way to the line.
Terry emerged as a big gamer and is the reason why Dallas was in the finals.

Did Miami have to play the same level of competition as Dallas did? No.

Football is a game where penalties are much more obvious and much less ambigous in their nature.

Football has the benefit of instant replay/challenges where Basketball relies on split-second judgement of people who may or may not have had a clear view of the play and can't review the tape to make the right call.
