I thought if J.T would have stayed off the friggin ropes, he would have won the fight imo. Good fight none the less. Man :eek: B.Hop got cut up, glad to see him go out with a win under his belt.

Who won?they called it a Damn draw! :mad: Taylor threw harder punches in bunches but hit nothing but gloves! he very seldomly hit a clean target! Winky on the otherhand hit him at will and was landing at a very high connect rate and took the fight to Taylor and backing him to the ropes the whole fight except the last round! Winky did a way better job of beating Taylor then Taylor did of beating Hopkin's to win the title! :rolleyes:

Winky won the fight. What were the judges scoring, the sound of Taylor's punches bouncing off Wright's gloves???
I like both fighters and expected to see Taylor win, but Winky was robbed, IMO. HBO commentary is so one-sided, turn off the sound and watch the fight. Winky had a brilliant game plan.

Too had to call a winner.
Besides, now HBO cn put the rematch on PPV and make a boatload of cash!!

Looked like Winky was taking some hard shots from JT as was Jermain from Winky, both of there faces told the story. I agree with the fight being a draw. Don't think they will fight again though, unless its a big PPV payout.....

Don't think they will fight again though, unless its a big PPV payout.....of course they both took some nice lick's but remember that Boxing(or any fighting for that matter) is suppose to be about hitting and not getting hit in return? look at the compubox stats to see who hit who more often and was more accurate! :p I think Winky was smart in saying no rematch cause' this fight along with the other two Hopkin's fight's make you wonder if Taylor is good or just protected by the promoter's????? winky should look to a De la Hoya fight or maybe a Vargas rematch? :cool:

IMO I think it was a fair decision, but not the right one. I think Winky could of did more in the last round also. It was a pretty good fight though. Winky said he doesn't want a rematch, I wouldn't mind seeing a Winky-Vargas(After el feroz beats down Mosley) rematch.

So what all did Kronk Gym teach JT ? Just to trade more and no defense ? Winky is under rated and JT is over rated. Bring back B-hop from retirement to beat down JT once more!!! :D

Taylor is getting what every Olympian get's and thats alot of HYPE!!! :rolleyes: he fought back OK, so does that mean he deserves to win..............NO! winky walked him down,took the fight to him,and taught him what the basic's is all about! Jab,jab,jab,jab,jab, all day long right in the face! and for all the flurries Taylor threw back..... landed mostly on the gloves abd then he got smacked right back in the face from Winky! :D for those of you who don't know then look at the damn compubox stat's! it's right there in black and white! Winky wright taught Taylor a Boxing lesson and got paid 3.5 million for it! :D

Emanual Stewart is also overrated, IMO. Taylor didn't look any better from his last fight. Then was out boxed by Winky.

Anyone else think Stewart looks like Mr.Sandman from Punch Out. :D
