I know a couple of people on the board are considering it and just wondering if anyone else is as well. Just thinking it would be cool to get our seats near each other or on the same row.

I think you should ban those guys.

And if I had the skrilla to blow on season tickets I might. But I would get Stars season tickets first.

Hey at least I offered to buy the beers....whether it be at AAC or Hooters before/after the game. If I had the dinero to do so it would be cool to do so.

If I were to ever buy season tickets to Mavs or Stars, I would get seats away from the Cocaine and Boobjobs whom can't name a single player even though they go to 80% of the games and then they yell at me for Cheering Too Much.

Email it to me as well John, I'd like to compare some thing.

As for now, I'm thinking about moving down into the Row A-D area but not sure what section. For the playoffs they moved me into Section 315 Row D which I think is better than what I had during the regular season which is higher. Row E (the row directly behind me) is level with the concourse area so I'm kinda digging that, no going up or down stairs and nobody sitting behind me which really makes it easier getting to your seat if you can just drop into it rather than crossing through people.

Anyway, I've got my invite to tour the AAC and pick the seats I want for next season. Let me know what you guys decide. I'm buying a half season this time rather than the two mini plans just to make sure I get more priority for the playoffs next year.

You already know the wife and I are looking at tickets. Should we try and get something with the account exec. you work with? Or stick with the guy that has been working with Tracy?? When are you doing the tour? I think that'd be a great idea to get tickets with everyone else. Especially when it comes to some ppl not going to certain games and others going. I bet we could end up trading tickets around evety now and again during the season. I would rather us seat near each other then have to meet each other outside during halftime beer runs! :)

BTW, I thinking I'm going to game 2 sunday too. I've got some friends that want to go and we're looking to get 4 seats together. You're still in the same seats Sunday?

do mini plans get playoff options? The GF & I were looking into either a half season or mini plan for next year. 300 level on the rail(row aa) would be ideal, they were great seats last time we had em.

Jose mentioned something to me last night at the game that the mini plans would get less options at playoffs. I'm sure he'll chime in about this.

im thinking about it but I havent really decided. my g/f dosent like the game enough to buy her a set too and going alone kinda sucks. so im still on the fence.

edit: DAMN i didnt realize it was so much $$$$ i may just have to go with a mini pack thing. or just buy individual tickets when i can make it again

That's what I want to know, If you can spend like $360 a seat for half season and get playoff tickets and then turn around and sell 2 or 3 playoff games to pay for the season that is totally worth it to have Playoff tickets guaranteed and get a half season paid for. :D

according to mavs.com only full season & half season tickets show playoff priorities, none on the mini plans.

Well my thinking is that if we work with the same AE it would make it easier in getting our seats all together. I'll shoot him an email tonight and see what he has to say about it. I think it would be cool to have all out seats together.

Probably not going to make Game 2 :( I'm giving my seats to my nephew and my sister has never been to a game so I'm going to let her take him. I took him to Game 5 last week of the Suns series and he had never been to a playoff game before and he really enjoyed it.

What about a group buy, do they give discounts for season tickets bought in bulk??

Not sure about season tickets but I know when we did a GTG at a Mav's game a few years ago there wasn't much of a discount given. I'll ask and find out.

Jose mentioned something to me last night at the game that the mini plans would get less options at playoffs. I'm sure he'll chime in about this.

I'll get some clarification on that from my AE but ya he was telling me that there may not be as many playoff tickets available for mini plan owners and he suggested I upgrade to a half season (which I was thinking about already anyway) in order to insure my tickets. I'll find out though.

Well if do this group thing for half season seats it might not be so bad getting a single ticket :)

Well I could have did that as well but enjoy going to the games to much. But ya, you could sell a few games and basically pay for next season.

Who all at this point is interested? I know as of right now, they are NOT taking deposits for lower level seats. I have a group outside of the dfwstangs group that would like to purchase tickets with me as well. I think it would be best for all interested to start putting their deposits this week.

I think the father-in-law is getting the same season tickets for next year (I hope so anyways). :) They are in section 326, Row G, seats 7-10.

Sorry I never called you from the Mavs game Jose. I left the number written down here at the house and forgot to put it in my cell. Have you been at Games 1 and 2?

GO MAVS!!!!!
