They introduced quite a few new skits tonight at the game. My favorites of the new ones where The Mavericks (take off of The Simpsons) and Playoff Wars III (or something like that) which was a take off on the Star Wars III movie.

The Mavericks opens up with a black Bart Simpson writing on the chalk board...

I will not hack Steve Nash in the face...
I will not punch Finley in the groin...

Several Mav's players were shown as various Simpson characters including a blond headed Homer :D

Playoff Wars III opens with the scene where Obi Wan and Skywalker are fighting by the river of lava. Dirk cuts down Nash and while he's laying there on the ground he's telling him that if had stayed they could have rulled the NBA together. Classic!

Some great stuff but they also had a couple of duds. Great job by Cuban and his staff keeping the fans entertained during the down periods of the games. I hate to say it but I almost enjoy watching these little skits more than the Mav's Dancers (but only cuz I can't see them that great from where I sit :D ).

What?

Obviously clueless.

Sounds cool Jose, I haven't been able to go to any games since I've been down in Austin and I don't like the spurs (or San Antonio for that matter)

Yeah it is really entertaining during down time at the games. I was able to go see a Bulls game in late 90's when Jordan had come back. The entrance the Bulls made at the start of the game was pretty exhilarting on TV. But to actually be there and witness it was really awesome experience.

No matter how many times they change the lyrics to that song, it's still funny/original!!!!!!!!!!

You know what is funny/original?

The over usage of an exclamation point, followed by hitting the enter button 40 times and putting the rolleyes smiley.

Now that's funny/original!
