I have an 01' White Supercrew F150 and I was curious in your opinions, what is the best fast hand wax around. Not buffing, just something you apply with an applicator and remove with a dry towel/cloth.
Something that's not too hard to use??

Zaino is the brand, but you can only buy it online. If you want something else that's pretty damn good and can be purchased at any parts store, get Maguire's NXT Tech Wax or Mother's Carnuba (sp?) wax. Both are excellent.

Piggy backing on the original post. What can I go to the local shop and buy that will work good with a polishing wheel?? I bought one of those hand held polishers made by coleman and I want the good stuff to make my car gleem. Also anyone tried the polishing ball by mother's that is advertised in the new MM&FF for polishing wheels?
To be honest, the best thing I've used to polish my wheels is the Flitz ball that is advertised on TV. You can still buy it on the "As Seen on TV" website. It fits on a drill. Apply a little of the shit they give you and go to town...worked wonders on my pony wheels that I had on the Fox I sold in Jan.

collinite 845 insulator wax, probably the most durable, easy to apply, cheap, and pretty decent looking.
Not many places sell it though in stores, you can get it online at exceldetail.com
or a great carnuaba but not as great durability,probably about a month or so, is natty's paste wax. same place online

Try Tropi-Care. Clay bar, Swirl Cutter, Polish/sealant XP., Premium Wax. The prosses is a sinch. Wipe on Wipe off . And if that mother gets dirty. Spay off w/ water and wipe down w/ towl. Feels like u just waxed again. I get every thing I need @ Modern Mustang Performance. Call and ask for Robert. 972- 245- 2712.

I use 3M and it is definately the best wax I have ever used. They sell it at English Color. You can do the cleaner wax 1st and then the polishing wax second but just the polishing wax will work great. Bad thing is I think its 20-30 bux for a bottle.

There is no real best wax out there. All in personal preference IMHO.
I use the full line of Tropi-care and had great luck detailing all of my customers cars.

A lot of people tell me how clean and shiny my car is and I use plain old Meguiars products. I don't wax my car near enough but I make up for it washing it twice a week. Hell, Steve (tropi-care) lives right down the street and I still dont use his products. :)

I use nothing but Tropi-care products and get amazing results with them. I use it all with the Porter Cable 7424 polisher and i couldn't be happier.

definately agree with the PC kicking ass. You can get it for about 100 bucks at Lowes, and it's worth every penny

don't know if it's "quality" or not, bu the nicest wax I have used has been Eagle One Wet wax with teflon. It makes your car shine so beautifully and is easy to apply adn remove. about 15 dollars a can. You may like it.

poorboy's detailing products, by far the best and user friendly, the whole line is great. nothing comes close. and a pc would also help out a lot. on your white truck i would use poorboy's polish with carnuba followes by natty's paste wax. great combo for white

No offense, but like my thread said, I'm looking for something I can apply with an applicator and remove with the dry towel/clotch.
Not a porter cable. ;)
Although my lazy ass should invest in one and save myself the hassle, lol.
