Another stolen bike! HELP!

A good friend of mine had his bike stolen from in front of his house - Located in West FT. Worth near lockheed Martin. The details are as follows -

2001 Ducati 748
Yellow/White
approx 7400 miles

(if there are any other details I'll be sure to post as I find out)

I can't believe someone is so brazen to steal such a nice bike in broad daylight but they did.

I think i saw him the other day on 820 right before White Settlement Road. Damn, that sucks. I think i'm going to look into getting lo-jack for mine.

If you saw someone on the bike it wasn't him! I know it's kind of vague and probably too late but where was he heading?
I have never seen another bike like it on this side of town :eek:

Not sure if it was his bike, but it was a yellow Duc, followed by an older (01-02) blue gixxer heading towards 35. I was in a car heading towards Benbrook, right before 30, right before the new cop trap in the median. Looked to be a white guy riding. Thats about all i can tell you. And this was like Wednesday or Thursday.

Damn, that sucks! I thought he sold that bike last year. Not many yellow Ducatis rolling around. Bike thieves need to die a slow and painful death.

For the records - the bike has already been found. All I know right now is that it is missing "some parts" - not sure what that means just yet though.

Just kiddin, but really, would any of you wanna get together some weekend night and put a bait bike in an apartment complex or somewhere bikes are known to be stolen and have a stakeout? If we someone trying to steal the bike, is it illegal to beat his ass???????

Considering how many bikes keep coming up stolen all the time...you might find yourself outnumbered by all the people that come to steal it :p
