If you want something to get good gas mileage get a kia rio.

But if you want a dependable street bike to ride around on get a cbr 600rr. But its not going to save you any money really.

Insurance will be cheap if its liability. It was 180 for the year for me before I sold mine. It will be more though if you get it new. You will get better mileage but you will spend way more on tires. You are pushing it to get 8k miles out of a set of tires.

You've gotten 8K on a set of tires?!?! How the fuck did you or anyone manage that? I think I might get...maybe...3500 outta mine. Then again I only change em one at a time so...

I got 8k out of the stock ones but the rear was showing chord when I took it in to get changed. The rest lasted maybe 5k.

311-420,

Pick up a Cycle Trader and look for a pre-owned Suzuki SV650.
It's a nice entry-level V-twin that delivers great performance at a decent price.
You should be able to find 'em starting around $3500.

lol. I dunno. I went to the track a lot too but never did burnouts. I hated riding with flat spotted tires though. It made it handle like junk. Best tires I've ridden on were some pirelie race compound tires. I loved the peak in the middle and it fell right into corners with ease.

just get a GS500, those suckers get hella good gas mileage and they're light and easy to ride. might not be "ballin" like you would be on a RR but it'd only cost like 1,200-1,500 for one.

No way I could go that long. When the front flat spots it does not want to turn and actually feels dangerous because the bike just wants to stay straight up.
