I'm ready to sell mine. Trying to find a site that would give me a realistic view on what i can get for it. I don't wanna rip off anyone, but also don't want to just give it away. Suggestions? Thanks -- Tom

I always go to www.cycletrader.com and use their search feature. I search for bikes like mine within 350 miles and study them. Find out what people are asking and what condition the bikes are in and compare them to mine. You can usually get a fair idea of what you should be asking. Hope that helps,

Brad

EDIT:

Oh yeah, what are you selling?

Thanks for the tip. Selling a 98 zx6r, green purple white, Full muzzy carbonfiber exhaust, matching jet kit for exhaust, lockhart phillips fairing stay, new pilot sport tires, recent chain and sprockets, recent clutch, recent meaning 500 miles or less. Starts right up, but runs rich. needs a good tune, but will hang with stock 750's without much effort. Has 39k miles on it and never been down, but did fall in an enclosed trailer and cracked the right side of the front upper fairing but can be repaired. Was thinking 3200 obo. Seem fair? i only found one other on cycle trader and it was going for 4400 with 9k miles.

I'd stick it on craigslist.org for $3200, you might get pretty close to that, and the ad won't cost you anything. I think "lowthreeohz" paid close to that amount for his 98-99 ZX6R, so that's probably about right.

Sounds about right but the mileage will scare some people.
