To clean spark plug wires without removing the lettering? Any help would be appreciated. :D

De-naturalized rubbing alcohol should do the trick.

I've had some success using Fast Orange hand cleaner...smear it on (do NOT rub it in), let it sit, then spray it down...I have Saleen wires and the lettering is still like new...
