do you wash bikes the same as a car .. I have heard not to use high pressure on them I was thinking a wash cloth and soapy water to hand wash it might be okay .. but just dont want to F anything up ..

I wash mine just like I wash my car, garden hose and washing mitt thing. It takes a little longer drying it off, and being careful around chain, but I figure its about the same.

I have heard with a car-wash high pressure sprayer it can take off chain lube :confused: So I try and avoid those, but my bike is a fair weather bike. Only seen rain once.

ditto...I usually clean my chain as well when i wash the bike......just make sure when you do chain lube you ride around for around 10mins
