Weather.com lists it as isolated thunderstorms until about 9:00pm with a pretty constant 30% chance of rain. It's dark over here in Irving but no rain yet today.. I think that will be changing very shortly by the looks of it.

I'm glad you asked, Leah. You know, I've been having a heck of a time with life as of late. The other day I get a phone call from a friend of mine that was having a going-away-party. At first I was happy as my li'l brain focused on 'party' instead of 'going away.' But shortly after, I started to feel glum. That's right, I said it. Glum.

It made me really think of all the fun times we shared and how I've taken all of that for granted. When we were kids, we had a poop fight. Actually, I was a non-combatant as I submarined my way back to shore. But those who did fight in that epic battle still bear the emotional scars. Now those days are gone. *sigh*

Later that night I went home to slide into my 'other' bucket and take it for a cruise. Everything was great and driving to the local Burger Hut was a treat all in its own.

That experience was short lived come morning. I went into the backyard to feed my pet turtle (Finnagin Rosencranz) and he was gone. I looked everywhere. At first I thought I might have forgotten to feed him. But his half eatin brownie and Skittles laid there untouched. *where are you Finn' - stop playing around I'm worried* I looked all over for him, then out of exhaustion, I just gave up. I hope he finds his way back.

Later on, I decided that I could sign-on to DFWStangs.net and share some of my troubles. Maybe even get some of the fantastic feedback this forum is filled with. And out of nowhere, I was banned. That's right. An innocent member banned with nary an explanation. I was stumped. And althought I still have no idea why I was banned, who banned me, and what the protocol is when someone gets banned - I'm once again free to post.

And now that I'm back and posting, what do I see? You leghumping some geriatric. I'm just looking for some level of normalcy right now. Sometimes even I get tired of all the curves life throws at you. *sip*

There's only one requirement. Stop by, get out of your car, walk up to the group or any sub-group, and say hi. Don't just sit in your car and expect everyone to come over and welcome you. We are a friendly group. Come look for me if you're shy. I'm (usually) the only Asian guy at the meet. :)
