Anyone got a hookup for mounting and balancing motorcycle tires? I was originally gonna go to Cycle Gear in Plano but they seem like a bunch of clowns up there. Any recommendations?

The girls aren't that hot. And that's one of the big problems I've noticed up there, they don't know squat about bikes and are SLOW. Everytime I've been there it's mass confusion and you have to wait around 15-30 minutes for everything. Won't be going back.

people at car/bike shops hardly ever know anything about what they're selling, and what can you expect if they're only getting paid $8/hr? shops can't afford to pay super knowledgable people to run the counter. i never buy anyting in person unless i can get it off the shelf myself, or at least know the part number beforehand to double check them. they've screwed me over TWICE on things i ordered in the past, so i stick with stuff online.

GMH is off blue mound road and 820, if you are going west on 820 exit blue mound road and take a right, there is a chicken express and a jiffy lube (or some kind of lube) there is a strip center with joes pizza and some other assorted store, GMH is behind the strip center. there are no signs, but you will know where it is via all the bikes.
GMH is a great place, i HIGHLY recommend them. they have seen my bike a few times.

A kind of large thing that sits on the floor, not just bead breakers and irons, right??? If so, tell me about it.
I've only paid to change tires twice, when I first started riding and when I needed it done in a pinch with no access to doing it myself. That second time, I brought the wheels w/tires and new tires to D&S and it was $80! LOL, I had no other choice though. I REALLY hate using irons, especially with a street tire front tire. I saw a manual changer in a magazine for a few hundred. I need to check out their website, thinking of buying it this summer.

i got it form harbor freight. its not anything fancy, but it does the job. the hardest part is trying to keep from scratching the wheels, but its not impossible.
