The blue Chevy II took down True Street, I can't remember exactly who one Extreme, and Wolfe walked away with Limited Street.

someone oiled the track, it was shut down for awhile.

All I know if Wolfe won his class, what's new. Saw Grant McCreary make a pass. Badass.

I dont think the even qualified :confused:. Im guessing it was the orange Chevelle, I left after the ricer oiled down the starting line.

Way to go John Dinkel and Punisher Auto.... :cool: Hell I remember watching that car run 8.9's with a 377 and some Dart Iron heads I believe they were. Those guys are a class act and some good friends of ours :)

I believe they are also going to be running in the FSTA race in Temple tomorrow with the Houston guys attending. Should be a good show if anybody wants to see some more badass 10.5 action :D

Roy's car won T/S running back to back 5.78's and the black 69camaro won extreme. I think they are from Houston if I'm not mistaken, and of course Nelsons car won limited without wheelie bars. :eek:

Wolfe's car is a work of art, watching a somewhat stock chassis Mustang run 4.80's is amazing.

Charles Riggins is the Black 69 Camaro from Houston, those guys always have some good racing to provide.

Roy's car.... he's like Wolfe, the one were all chasing.

I walked around in the Pits looking under the hoods of the Mustangs out there last night and noticed there were a few with Chevy engines. Is this a new thing? Those Mustangs kicked ass too.

All I can say is damn! There was some badass racing for sure last night and only a hint of what is to come for the rest of the season. I can also say - watch out for the new guys. Once the "new" cars are ironed out it will be a tough battle near the mid season for some of the veterans. The yellow turbo car has put down the big power and just needs some track time (that was the FIRST time to go down the track last night). The silver '69 camaro has a LOT of power and it shows by running the same MPH as the winners of the class..

Then of course - there are the cars that aren't there yet :D (they will be just as good)

We did not qualify, we got there when they were calling final call for 2nd round of qualifying. We had just put the motor in after the incedent that happen right before FFW Georgia.
We had a lot of extra weight in the car and the first pass it went up and started to go right. I didn't want to take a chance just for a qualifying spot. We then iced it down and went to make another pass. When I launched it felt like a slipping clutch, I shifted and it felt the same, I then just let out. We pulled the trans. out today and the converter is just about locked up. We disassembled the trans and it looked ok. We are going to freshen it up since it's out and I over nighted my converter to Neal Chance. Hopefully he can get it done and back in time for FFW Houston.

You should wait for Malouf to get done and then make a statement like that. He and Wolfe will be duking it out all season. But as to who'll be faster I have no idea. But I promise you it'll be interesting.

If toms twins put pressure on wolfe he'll just drop in his bigger motor to make up for the differencem its wolfe world and everyone else is just a squirl...

He's putting so much money in his car it makes me sick. :eek: I think Wolfe is already running that 29.5 tire to the ragged edge so more power will create problems for both guy's.

I have seen th ecar it is comming together nicely and will be legal.

all im saying is the car has been completely cut out and it cant fit the LS rules unless there changed,i have no hatred towards anyone..
I just hope it dont take a 120mm for mine to run 4.90 ..lol :D

Wolfe is the BRAIN...unless someone cuts his blood supply...you cant stop him. Im betting on David Wolfe to win the season out and he might actually start leaning on the car and go faster then 4.80's on true 10's.

lol, that is no lie. I think the only car to beat him last year was Bubba/Andy's. They have a new car, so they will working it out most of the season. I look for Wolfe to make a sweep....and he is still using last years motor.

He ran the car a few weeks ago in the 1/4.... :eek: is all I can say:)

James Burns did a great job on that car and with several TTT5 wins by Tom last year noone can argue that. Tom will tell you the same thing.

I didn't know James built that chassis. I could have sworn that car had a cage in it when Tom got it from Mike.

Wolfe is one bad mofo and got the edge but he AINT no god guys. But his boots sure are clean with all his fans around! hehe

I love the way the car leaves and runs straight hope mine does even though it will be slower by far!!!!

James redid all the suspension. It had a cage James just added to it and fixed a bunch of stuff.
