Well, If I could have put the power down going through the one hairpin instead of doing my best impression of a drift master, a mustang would have certainly posted an FTD for the first time EVER in Dallas....missed it by .3 seconds which I know I wasted a full second drifting the car in that turn on that run....

course was VERY tight and some gates could barely get a miata through it....oh well, 4th overall in a group of 78 cars and in the company of some nationally ranked drivers in Good cars isn't too shabby!

time for bump stops in the rear..........

Already riding on them! Trying to find a way to modify the lower shock mount to get them to have a little more travel.

If you saw the competition who were all on full race slicks, and me on treaded "street" tires....you would really get a sense of the accomplishment!!!

However, if you look at it from their stand point....I did show up in an enclosed trailer so I SHOULD have done better right?! :p

course map blew away while we were out there so sorry, I don't have it.

Tires were the spec AI tire....275/40/17 Toyo RA1's....had to run about 10lbs more air in them because I couldn't get them hot enough to build pressure......well, the rears got some heat in them! ;)

Well, the AX was mostly to shake down the car after the off track agricultural expedition in the last race event. The hobby is a full blown bank account drain now. You would shit if you saw the car compared to the last time you saw it!!!
