Got to run the oldman's Mach 1 tonight and wanted to know if these times sounded pretty close for a bonestock Mach. The car weighed 3640 with me in it and just less than a half tank of gas. The only thing not stock on this car is a fairly new set of Toyo tires. Also, I was shifting at about 6600 each run, anyone know if that's too high or low? Hell, should I be shifting at the redline of 6800? Anyway, here are the 2 best passes.

60' 2.060
1/8 8.633
1/8 mph 83.03
1/4 13.349
1/4 mph 104.37

60' 2.084
1/8 8.662
1/8 mph 83.31
1/4 13.357
1/4 mph 104.82

I have heard some guys running high 12's in stock Machs and I can see why. With just some drag radials and some 60 foots in the mid 1.8's I can see a 12.9x easily.

Sounds about right. I think Paul Sviniki ran a 12.9 with a stock Mach and DR's.

Good runs. Sounds like you had the drive mod.

Judging by the 60's, those are some good times for a car with just a tire change!
