After last night's meltodown against GS, the Mavs don't have much to play for, but I know Avery won't let them take the night off. Being the 2nd night of a back to back, I'm not so sure I expect the Mavs to win this game. Still, it's on TNT tonight and against Stevie Wonder, I meant Nash, so I expect a good showing.

Avery wouldn't let them slack off period, not to mention against a team they could eventually face in the playoffs. I want to see some good defense tonight from the Mavs since last night there was none.

GO MAVS!

Update, Spurs lost tonight to Orlando.Damn, another loss on their home court. I bet if the Mavs had won last night, the Spurs would have won tonight though. When the Spurs know they have a game in hand, they just seem to let up a bit. Now if the Mavs could just win out and the Spurs could lose the last game to the Yao-less, T-Mac-less Rockets, we'd have it made.

The Suns are raining down 3 pointers galore on the Mavs tonight. I think they hit 6 or 7 in the 1st period alone. The bright spot is that Devin Harris is back in the lineup tonight for Dallas! Stack isn't playing but it's not due to an injury. They just wanted to rest him on the 2nd night of a back to back to wind down the season. So everyone is back except for Van Horn and he won't be back. Now we'll have a couple games together and hopefully we can gel a little before the 1st round. And the way it looks now, we're gonna get the Memphis Grizzlies. That should be quite a defensive battle...

Mavs looking tired tonight as I expected. They are down 60-45 at the half and have given up 9 3 pointers already. Maybe the Mavs can make it a game in the 2nd half.

Mavs might as well give their players a rest tonight.

Man, this game is heating up...there's been 3 flagrant fouls in the last 5 mins or so. Coupla 1s and a 2 on Tim Thomas. Meanwhile, allas is getting their ass kicked!

Well, they got the call wrong...it was only a 1 on Thomas. Raja Bell has one and so does Damp.

Mavs have made a mini run...they've cut the 20 pt lead down to 11.

Mavs fell back down by 15 again and have now cut the lead down to 9 with 8:15 to go.

Well damn, D.A. just got called for a flagrant. Suns get 2 fouls shots plus the ball. Refs are just f-cking whistle happy tonight.

Mavs down Mavs down 9 with 3:35 to go. That 3 just sank the Mavs I think.

Damn...Mavs have given up 16 3 pointers tonight. They better get that shit fixed before the playoffs. Otherwise the next Steve Kerr will step up and beat our ass.

Not unless they lose 14.5 more games this year.

Very frustrating game. We looked tired mentally tired from the get go. Turnovers out the arse and no perimeter defense. Atleast we can finish with two home games and regroup for the playoffs. I still like our chances in the playoffs.

Go Mavs!

Jesus Chris, Marv Albert. Next time there's a sporting event on that I feel like watching, I'll just plant my ass down in front of the computer and look at your play by plays.

I'm sure Marv didn't say "Damn" or "shit", but I think I'll actually take that as a compliment.
