Fastest I could get out of a V6 Camaro was a 9.7, don't remember the trap speed though. I do remember the owner never went faster than a 10.2:) I'd bet an 05 V6 Stang could get into the 8s with a good driver though, those things have some balls!

I think it was a 14.4 @ ennis in my 93Z. Ennis was trying a new drag racing class, and I was in the first one. Was a small two page article in Hot Rod about it..back in 94 or 95.

hey, i lived a couple streets over from Frank Cook who owned and ran the Drag-On vega funny car. my brother was also friends with Cookie McCullough who ran a pro-comp candy apple red 68 camaro named "CancerII". do you remember any of those two? Cookie built my brother's 454 that he had in his 65 hardtop convertable stingray. that fucker was bad-ass.

Yes i do remember, one of my fondest memorys is one sunday in74-75 at Yello belly the Hells angels came out and were partying and racing that place was real wild back then no tree just a guy dropping his hands 1 dollar to get in 1dollar to race good times.

9.33 at Kennedale was my first real pass after getting my license, but I made some passes at Yello-Belly while I was 15 prior to that. They didn't give out slips then and I don't even think they had any boards up either. That was 97 for the k-dale pass.
