Do I need some special things on my car to take it to the track? IE helmet, roll cage??

just go to the track and i'm sure somebody will warn you and tell you what you need after a few passes.

Thanks. What track is good for beginers? Prefrebly one with soft walls. :rolleyes:

if its a vert, you will need a roll bar for sure.

d, you will need a helmet for sure. you will be ok for a little while with that at the 1/8th mile tracks.

make some test passes and see what she runs. you will need a driveshaft loop on your car. if you run sticky tires, id make sure to have them and atleast subframes. if you run too fast you will need to invest in a cage soon.

not sure if you have signatures enabled, but this is in his:

302 Mod stroker 8.5:1 Compression, H-Beam Rods, Custom Spherical Dish JE Pistons, File to fit rings, ARP Main studs, Zero Ballanced, ARP studs, Vortech VSQ 15lbs?, Custom Grind Crower Cams, PI Heads ported by REDMAN RACING, 373 Gears, Anderson Power Pipe, Saleen S351 Gear, 315/35/17's, Racecraft suspension, Mac Long Tube, Accufab 75mmTB and plenum, 60lb injectors, SCT mass air blow through, SCT tunned, NOS 150 shot??

Oh, I didnt catch it.

If he's running a Vortech on 15 lbs of boost and a 150 shot of NOS, then my guess would be yes, he'll need a cage. I think personally he was advertising for compliments. I doubt he is going to put all of that on his car and NOT know whether or not he needs a cage.

Everything below is in the car for the exception of the NOS. If I dont get the HP I am looking for than NOS is an option for me. I am not looking to make a hobby out of racing. If it was I wouldnt have used a Vert. I just want to see how fast it is on the track.

Not sure but will be finished with the motor this weekend and then HPP needs to tune it for me. I will be looking for a place soon. I should probably break in the motor first.
