I just saw a commerical w/ Emmitt Smith stating something about a comeback. I googled it and came up with this article stating he denied it but what's with this commercial. It has him and Troy Aikman in it and says something about 4/23/06 I think. Anyone know what the deal is and what they are announcing?

I saw it tonight as well. I have no idea as to what it is talking about either. No web-address or anything letting you know what they are talking about.

You didn't hear?
Emmitt Smith got drafted to the Houston Oilers as a kicker and Troy Aikman got picked up by the L.A. Rams as a strong safety.

It probably has something to do with him being a commentator.

I saw this commercial again tonight and it has some text down at the bottom that states that it is sponsored by the Texas Lottery Commission.

They just aired another new commercial w/Emmit and Aikman. Still doesn't tell what their involvement is with the Lottery.

I am pretty sure it involves Emmitt being on some sort of lottery ticket. Maybe have him scoring touchdowns etc. I just heard that some pro baseball team has a lottery ticket out so I am sure this isn't too far behind that concept.

To make a boatload of money, oh and to fund the schools. I mean 1/20th of 1/20th of 1/20th of 1/20th of every dollar goes to the school budget. That is why the lottery was started by Texas, to further education. Ha, ya right.

They showed a new one during the Mavs game. Something about a bonus ball.

They are getting rid of the bonus ball for a better chance of winning. That is the legend comback. the old way of the lottery I guess
