that is all. Duncan and Manu can cry me a river. :)

We still need Devin Harris and Adrian Griffin to return. If Avery can get us to play up to our potential then I like our chances.

But, Spurs are still the best in the west until proven otherwise. Finally, I think we have a better team than the Spurs. Avery needs to get the Mavs to prove it. ;) Atleast on this night, the Mavs were the better team. Bring on the playoffs.

That was the pre-game thread. We needed a post-game thread. ;)

FYI, I watched the game with my wife and friends at Fox Sports Grill in Plano. VERY cool place. Smoke free atmosphere, Flat screens all over the place, even had flat screens over the urinals in the mens room so I didn't miss the game while relieving myself of beer. :)

First of all, excellent game. I much prefer a close game to a blow out. Second, dammit Marcus you watched the game somewhere and didn't say where? I wanted to watch the game with some fellow DFW Stangers and didn't get to. I did watch the game at a bar (smoking allowed ;) ) but they had a band playing so I didn't get a chance to enjoy it as much :mad: I can suffer the smoke free to watch a game with some fellow fans though. Maybe next time.

Good game though. To bad we didn't move up much but I don't see us getting first seed anyway.

MarcusI'm definitely gonna have to check that place out. It sits about 100 yards from my office. I notice it every night on my way into work and I've been thinking that it looks like a cool place.


Good game. Late in the game the Spurs couldn't get anything to fall, and Dirk was on fire, he had a hand in every play it seemed like. Go Spurs :DYeah, the Spurs didn't hit much last night...on 38%. If you take out the 10 3 pointers they managed to hit, they only shot in the 20s for the game.

Jose- if you need to have a smoke you can go out on the patio, which has flatscreens as well. ;)

I was there and it was awesome!!

You'd be suprised how many Mavs fans were at the game. I counted alot of Nowitzki jerseys before I got too drunk to keep track!

mavs are overrated. Big deal if they beat the spurs during the regular season, they will lose to them in the playoffs. Cause the mavs does not have what it take to beat the spurs in the playoffs :cool:

BTW, Mavs didn't have a let down tonight against N.O. Hornets. They clobbered them 101-77. Figured they had a chance to fall off the wagon after an emotional game last night.
