Texas has a potential L with tOSU and Sooner, but that's all I really see. This is contingent on Snead developing on his current path, based on the Spring Game. If he doesnt, could be a ruff season.
The Ags have potential Ls with Army, Baylor (IN LIGHT OF THEIR LITTLE BUDDING RIVALRY) and La Tech, Ls to Tech, OU, Nebraska, Texas.
I havent see OUs schedule, but I'd put Texas as somewhere between possible and likely, and Tech as a possible loss.

Tech as a possible loss.Yeah, I don't see us having a good year, we had a lot of seniors. :( I'll still be rooting for 'em though :D.

for OU, if they can survive the road trips to Eugene & Dallas, they may very well be in the hunt.

If Texas wins at home against the Buckeyes & OU wins at Oregon, the Cotton Bowl will be determining who represents the Big 12 in the NC.

Hookem- I think your burnt orange bias is obvious. ;)

You never know what you're going to get with us Aggies. I think the offense has the potential to be VERY good. McGee, Lane, Lewis, Bennet, and 5-6 receivers that should be very solid. Defense will decide how we do. With that said, our schedule looks pretty good to me. Our road games are not that bad.

9/02 The Citadel
9/09 Louisiana-Lafayette
9/16 vs. Army
9/23 Louisiana Tech
9/30 Texas Tech
10/07 @ Kansas
10/14 Missouri
10/21 @ Oklahoma State
10/28 @ Baylor
11/04 Oklahoma
11/11 Nebraska
11/24 @ Texas

Texas, OU, TTU, Neb, and Army should be the hardest games. I'd like to see us go 8-4 and win a bowl game and i'd be happy.

How so? How do you see the season going for Texas?

I picked 8-4 for the Ags as a possibility, same as you.

As far as bias goes.....what has McGee done to make you think he's all that and a bag of chips?

I highlighted the games I see giving us a problem, the sleeper in the big 12 is Nebraska I think.

I guess I misunderstood. You said you saw potential 'L's with 7 games, making it sound like you were predicting a losing season or something.

I think McGee will be good based off of what he showed me last season, he's a vocal leader with a strong arm, has been in the system longer than most his age due to graduating HS a semester early, etc.

What makes you think Texas will be so good with a brand new QB? Obviously they are defending National Champs but they still lost some good players and plugging in a new, young QB is ALWAYS a challenge. I could see Texas going 9-3 or maybe Mack Brown can pull out a 10-2. Is that unbias enough. :)

What about the home town team? SMU Mustangs! I think we might go bowling this year...albeit a shitty bowl game, but our first one in a long long time

Even though I played under Phil Bennett's son....I still despise SMUt.

HOWEVER...glad to see they finally quit backing down from North Texas. Should be a fun series.
