I just read up on L Ron Hubbard and his relationships with Aleister Crowley and Parsons, along with the real history he grew up in and not the Scientology BS that is spewed from their lips.

Anyone who has never done any sort of real research (like me until today) should just do a google search and just look at a few links. I.e. the Lisa MacPherson trial/death etc and you will realize what kind of crackpot religion this bullshit really is.

I used to just brush off Tom Cruise and Travolta's irrational thought and quotes as typical out of the loop Hollywood actor BS but they are friggin off the rocker.

Don't have the actual quote but written by L. Rob Hubbard before he started Scientology

-....writing science fiction for about a penny a word was no way to make a living. If you really want to make a million, he said, the quickest way is to start your own religion.'"

It is crazy. Most of the "Scientologists" are nuttier that bat shit. That's the only reason I hate going to cities like Boulder, CO and Sedona, AZ. They're hotbeds for Scientology. The fact that they call it "Christian Scientology" irks me even more.

I have heard how crazy they are and everything but never really looked at their founder or beliefs in depth but good God....they are missing the point.

what is the point?

to me, most religions are based on some crackhead beliefs anyway, especially the most common one here in the states. Fairy tales, all of it.

Tom Cruise is really whacked out...Just look at all the wired shit he does,NAd now makes his new wife do,( pretty much alienated her from her friends and family,Made her staty quiet during the birth, made her convert over,Doesnt believe in mental help or medication,ect..He is a cult in himself..I wouldne be surprised if he goes batshit one day and tries to get people to drink Special coolaid with him.

They are crazy as hell but who really gives a damn , when it comes down to it , you only get one chance to be right or wrong . Better hope you made the right choice .
