Can you download games to a PSP?

I got a usb cable for my PSP and was wondering if there was any games or movies that I can download to the PSP instead of having to buy the game/movie disc. Iv got a bigger memory stick for it so Im not concerned with it not having enough space.

Only if you're running firmware in the neighborhood of version 1.5. If so, then you can get an ISO loader (will require a sizable memory stick). psp3d.com is a pretty good source for such things.

Iv got v1.51. Will it not work? Iv already tried to load vids to it and it wont work. I formated my memory card and when I open the psp file theres only file's for games/music/saved data/and photo's.Ill check out that site. I m new to the PSP world so I dont have a dam clue about how to work it yet.Other than what the user manual said

Works great for me. And as for movies, they need to be in a specifically formatted directory structure. I use pspware to handle all that for me, and psp3d's message board has details for the rest.
