You need to upgrade video cards for one thing!
Here's mine, and I'm in the yellow near the green. No complaints about gaming here:) It would probably be higher, if it took into account both my hard drive's free capacity.

upgrade your video card and look for a new mobo/PCU combo of some kind. 2.8s are getting cheaper. here are my stats

Processor Intel Pentium 4 2599MHz
Display Card ATI RADEON 9600 Series
Memory 1024MB
Operating System Microsoft Windows XP
Free Disk Space 5.9GB
Display Card Memory 256MB
Display Driver Version 6.14.10.6490
DirectX Version 9.0c
Optical Drive CD/DVD
Sound Card SB Audigy 2 ZS Audio [DE80]

and just like 5.0Vert im sure i would be higher up on the bar if it took into account my 293gigs of free space on my slave drive :D

Video card and memory. Benchmark tests are biased, btw.

but of course.

whitesmoke, where were you at on the red-yellow-green bench?

i've got the original soundcard too. 6 years old i think? that's holding me back for sure. I now only have 2 channels out of my 5 channel surround sound system working...probably time to upgrade:(.

Again, video card and memory. Here's a good (but technical and in-depth) article on where slow downs in games switch the bottleneck from CPU to video card in modern games.

Here's my specs:

Processor AMD Athlon(tm) 64 2404MHz
Display Card ATI RADEON X850 XT PE
Memory 2048MB
Operating System Microsoft Windows XP
Free Disk Space 51.85GB
Display Card Memory 256MB
Display Driver Version 6.14.10.6599
DirectX Version 9.0c
Optical Drive CD/DVD
Sound Card SB Audigy 2 ZS Audio [C400]

I did better on the bar than I thought I would, "Your system is among the top 1% of all systems scanned by the Game Advisor." I guess the comp makes up for the lack of a nice car.

That site is a little funny. I get dinged for having a 3gb partition that I use all for a paging file so it shows only 5% space free. I have a total of 300gb free space but it doesn't like the full 3gb partition.

Take that thing with a grain of salt... I just tried it, and ranked my system VERY low.

Processor AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 2210MHz
Display Card Generic VGA
Memory 1024MB
Operating System Microsoft Windows Server 2003
Free Disk Space 140.62GB
Display Card Memory 256MB
Display Driver Version 8.3.9.1
DirectX Version 9.0c
Optical Drive CD/DVD
Sound Card NVIDIA(R) nForce(TM) Audio

Display is actually a brand new Nvidia 7600GT (more precisely, the XFX 7600 GT XXX). It's an awesome machine, possibly the tool has issues with the just released line of Geforce cards, or with 64bit versions of Windows XP.
