I'm trying to goto a website with in a server (VPN, RDP) why is it, that this is what it tries to do with almost every website!?
www.www.whereever.com.org
Also, if i try to goto www.yahoo.com = www.answerferret.com
anyone have ideas?!

sounds like typical spyware. Run spybot seek and destroy, install latest version of Zone Alarm, and you should be good to go.
If spybot doesnt clear it up, run highjack this, and post the log before proceeding.

yea, i've thought it was that from the beginning, i've run ad-aware, spybot S&D, and i was going to run Trend Micro's, but it wont get to their website. It wont really get to any websites.... i'll try HiJackThis

It also has Server Edition AVG on it.

it actually had something to do with the DNS server. Thanks guys!

Thats what I was about to say. The latest spyware changes your dns servers via a trojan. IMO, time to reformat.

Well, I dont know if it was spyware related that caused the change, but it could have been. This server is about to be replaced anyway i think. Thanks Guys.
