View Full Version : t1 to router wiring
anyone know the pin out by color on the t1 side?
it says rj48c - i believe that uses a regular rj45 style 8 pin connector with a funky pin out on the t1 side. am i correct and what is the pin out?
thanks

shouldnt matter what color schema you use, it should just be a regular patch cable.
OW, O, GW, BLUE, BLUEW, G, BrownW, Brown

you can use either 568a or 568b. Some t-1's require it to be a cross over cable between you router. here is a link to a wiring diagram

Have fun!
it worked with just a straight through cable.
which i think i wired up using 568b. ow, o, gw, b, bw, g, brw, br
i guess phone guys have their own protocol
