I got the impression Shane had the grenade and only was going to use it if Lem had refused to go to Mexico. He spent quite a bit of time pleading with him to go to Mexico, but when he refused, I knew Shane was gonna kill him somehow.

I just wonder how next season will go.

Will they add another guy to the team?

Will they become honest cops and start doing good only?

Damn I love that show!

BAD Radio is about to have Shield talk at 5:50 for you P1's.

When Lem and Shane were together, I thought Shane was either going to kill him or he was going to try to makeout with him by the way he was acting. I was definitely surprised by the way Shane killed him. I think the investigation will find Shane's tire marks and possibly his fingerprints on Lem's car.

His name was Tavon. And Geoff already stated he thinks he is coming back. Shane and Tavon got into a fight at Shane's house and Shane hit him in the head with an iron. Tavon left all fucked up and wrecked. Vic came over and helped Shane clean the house up. My wife says the show sucks. But what does she know she married me.

Highly unlikely they would be able to trace tires froma brand new vehicle. Shane was also wearing gloves. Either way, it will be interesting to see how the investigation goes next season.

Here is how I see it Shane goes after Vic and misses. Vic kills Shane in a rage and can't get it covered up but even if he does Shane still has a file on Vic the copy only he knows of. Then every one goes down. I am still suprised nothing has ever come of the cat strangling.

I missed this episode too. Good to know it will be on Sunday. I'm guessing from the posts that Vic did something to Shane?

I get annoyed with the show sometimes because it's like they try to squeeze way too much information into each episode, making things more and more complicated, and all the while the dialogue is explaining things, but in such a coded, "inside circle" manner. Sometimes I cough or fart and I miss a few words and then I have no clue what the hell they are talking about. At the same time, that's the same quality that makes the show intense.

I've stayed away from Sons of Anarchy because I didn't expect it to be any good. I may have to check it out. Is it too late to jump in at this point and know who is who and what's going on?

That's why I didn't bother watching this week's Shield on Tuesday. I missed the first few minutes and if you miss 2 seconds you'll be lost the entire episode. Sons of Anarchy isn't as bad. There are a few story lines but it's no where near as convoluted as The Shield. You could pick it up now and still enjoy it. This week's rerun airs Sunday at 10 before the Shield which is at 11. Two hours of good watchin :D

I've been racking my brain thinking of what *could* happen.

Surely Shane and Vic won't run. That wouldn't make for good TV. And surely they won't go to jail, either. Same thing, doesn't make for good tv.

I'm just not sure how it will play out. It's been a damn good last season, though.

I can't believe he really did it. I really can't believe he sat there with that recorder, and came out with literally EVERYTHING. Then there's the suspense of whether or not he forgot to mention something, that he will get hung up on in the next episode. Sold Ronnie out, and everything. Surely, he's got some kind of back up plan for Ronnie. However, what's her lip said if any part fails to deliver (which included a conviction for Ronnie), the deal is null and void. So, it really limits the possibilities. If he gives Ronnie a heads up to run, Vic's deal is over. I can't believe he sold him out like that. But then again, I guess it's not all that far fetched for Vic. He's just trying to get himself and Corinne out of a jam.

Surely it won't end with a conviction for Ronnie. If it did, then Ronnie could spill the beans on everything they did as well. But of course, Vic already laid it all out once he signed that immunity deal. So, it's not like LE can do anything to Vic over any of that shit. There's got to be something going on. Ending with things as they are right now, is too much of a letdown. Surely the writers have something up their sleeves. Ronnie gets killed by the cartel maybe, during the bust? Who knows....

Shane was far from a good guy. He took the pussy way out, and took his family out with him.

Ronnie will serve some time in prison.

Vic, however, will be working at a job he hates, will never see his family again, and now has to live with the fact that he is responsible for Ronnie's incarceration and (for better or worse), Shane's death.

Too many unanswered questions also:

What happened to Acevedo, and his campaign?
Did Claudette Retire?
What happened to the jr. murderer?
What happened to Dutch? Did he take Claudettes spot, did he get arrested for the murder, did he bone that lawyer?
Did Julian turn gay again?
What happened to Vics family? Did they stay in the WPP?
What was with the connection in the ambulance between the dude who got shot running for mayor, and the hot cop chick?
Did Acevedo have him shot?

WAAY too many assumptions to throw around.

My take on the very end was that after all the fucked up "my life is over" shit he must have sat there and thought about, when he took his gun out of the lockbox and held it in his hand looking at it, he almost smiled and thought to himself "Hey, I've still got my gun. I'm still a cop. In the end that makes shit okay." And then he walks out like he's just going to take it in stride. And that's exactly what Vic would do. As horrible as shit in the real world is, and as bad, and guilty, and ashamed, and alone, and depressed as he should feel, he's cold blooded. He's able to shrug it off, or at least bury it. Ultimately he looked out for #1. Just another day.

I didn't like the ending immediately after watching it because I thought something dramatic would happen in the closing minutes. But really, the Shane thing and the Ronnie thing were the big dramatic parts, and they had to show more after that to close out the show. After realizing that, and picking up on Vic's smirk at the end, and trying to interpret his whole thought process in that closing scene, I can dig the way it ended. Claudette and that Ice chick all think they hurt Vic to the core at the end, but he's Vic, and he's a machine, and he will keep on keeping on, as fucked up as that makes him.

I think they should have rolled the credits when the lights went out in the building, in all honesty.

i see what your saying, and yes, Vic is a machine. all that has been done on the show was him doing for his kids. the hardest think that could have been done to him was taking his kids from him.

It took me a while to think about how I really felt about the ending. But in the end, I Liked it. Not loved -- could have been better.

I felt REALLY REALLY REALLY bad for Ronnie. He was so loyal to Vic man, did everything and was always down for him.

I feel bad for Shane too, I mean he's dead and so is his family.

Vic tho - I am mad at him, but it is Mackey-like. Get himself out of a bind and carry on. He's got a shitty job for 3 years and is without his kids and can't do the things he loves (he loves being a cop).

Aceveda - Did what he set out to do... its assumed he became the Mayor (I mean he was all over that drug bust)

Captain Wymms - Is eventually going to die

Billings - Got out of his Jams and is gonna be a slap dick for the rest of his life.

Dutch Boy - Never caught the jr killer in time, and he knew it was coming.

Corrine - Finally got Vic out of her life but now shes got a new house somewhere cold and shes not really happy. But Vic messed her life up so much

Overall it definately ended like the shield, lots of shockers and very dark. Even though it was just a show, I TRULY felt bad for Ronnie . First time a show has ever made feel like that (takes a lot for me to be emotionally attached to a show/movie)

And when Shane offed himself... I literally had my mouth wide open and I too think I stopped breathing!

i enjoyed the series finale. i knew when shane was in the restroom he was going to off himself....i was shocked when they showed his family laying there with the flowers and the toy car. i couldnt tell him vic felt bad for ronnie taking the fall for everything. when they showed vic his desk job i was saying oh shit the whole time. also when he heard the sirens and went to his window to look, he goes to his safe to get his gun. i got the impression that "hey im vic, i dont give a fuck what anyones says. im a cop and thats my job" fuck his desk job, he was going to where he belonged.

I actually just got an early xmas gift from my g/f of the Shield seasons 1-6 (for $70 bucks with shipping!!!) It was cheaper becuase it was made for release over seas and the packaging was different. No problems with it at all and it has all the commentaries.

Anyway I'm just rewatching the series and listening to the commentary. Bad ass show!

First post in at LEAST three months where you haven't tried to plug your business. Kudos, douchebag.
