Anybody going to the RideSmart track day at Cresson on Monday?

What level are you riding?

i wanted to go, but other stuff came up. i think they're running the new short track, looks like a lot of fun. tight and tons of elevation change.

Yep, they said we'd be on the new track.
Supposed to be better asphalt so not as slick in the morning.
Same stuff as TWS (never been there tho)

you mean same stuff as msr houston, right? tws was built like 20 years ago. whatever they used in houston is supposed to be really good on tires, so that would be nice. the regular msrc track can really chew up tires.

Some special stuff the guys said was good.
I'll find out Monday :-)

Didn't know MSR-Cresson's old track was hard on tires.
I'm slowly learning (very slowly it seems)

Someone said you could sign up for "standby" but I'm not sure how.
Maybe email them & ask.

Fuggin awesome!! I didn't even know they were adding on. So are they going to run the full track now, or seperate them?

Either. Depending on the event... they can rent both track and run the full 3.1 miles or split them. It just cost the sponser more to rent both tracks to run them together.

Even CMRA races? Damn i need to get my bike running and get out there!! :(

Not sure about CMRA races, but I'm sure its possible. They are not completely done with the new addition though.

We had to ride the old track today.
The new one wasn't completely ready :-(

It was still GREAT !
Nice weather, good instructors, friendly riders, wonderful experience !
Was my 2nd track day (level 1)
I'm hooked
