Job Description/Responsibilities
1. Repair & refurbish Motorola iDEN portable units down to the component level; 25 units
per day required.
2. Codeplug program or flash firmware in Motorola iDEN portable units.
3. Facilitate the return of qualifying units to the Motorola repair depots.
4. Interact with Nextel Retail Store locations via teleconferenece to perform minor
trouble shooting.
5. Receive and inventory inbound or outbound seed stock from the Nextel Retail
Distribution Center.
6. Manage repair parts inventory.
7. Willingness to work shifts or non-standard schedules.
8. Input work tickets and inventory updates into the GERS system.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. 2nd ecehlon iDEN certification from Motorola or at least 2 years of related experience.
2. High School Diploma or GED.
3. Excellent customer relationship skills.
4. PC literate and the ability to utilize Excel & Access software.
5. TRIS & NEWT capability.
